SURGICAL STEEL 316L
Surgical stainless steel is the most common metal for body jewellery, and is just behind G23 titanium in terms of biocompatibility.
TITANIUM G23
Titanium, one of the best materials when making body jewelry. This because titanium offers a few very practical advantages. First off, titanium is fully free of nickle making it perfectly suitable for those with a nickel allergy. On top of that, titanium is 3 times as strong as steel. Changes are few to slim that you'll bend this one or get it scratched. 
Another important feature is that titanium doesn't rust, you can expose this piercing to fluids as much as you like. 
BIOPLAST
Bioplast is a trademarked medical grade plastic. Bioplast can be cut to any length and threaded by any threaded metal ball.
It can be used for most piercings and it is also ideal for people who are going in to hospital for minor operations or scans. You cant get an allergic reactions to bioplast. 
SYNTHETIC OPAL
Synthetic opal (GIA: Polymer Impregnated synthetic opal) is impregnated in laboratory in around a year and has similar properties as that of natural opal. The main difference with natural opal is that the naturally occurring process has been sped up in the laboratory.
