Piercing Terms and Conditions for Unikorn

Welcome to Unikorn. By utilizing our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Before making your Appointment:

– Please check our age requirements before making your booking.

-Do not book a piercing appointment if you are breastfeeding or pregnant as we will not pierce you.

*Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable if we are informed 24 hours before.

The day of your Appointment

-It is essential that you prepare yourself for your piercing by eating a meal within 2 hours prior to your piercing appointment and that you keep yourself hydrated. We will not pierce you unless you have eaten.

-Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to fill out our consent form.

-You must bring valid, in date government issued photo ID with you, we will not do the piercing without it.

Anyone under the age of 16 will need to have a parent or legal guardian only to come in and sign your consent form.

-If you are late to your appointment time you will lose your piercing slot and deposit.

– Unless you need to be accompanied, only the person receiving the service will be allowed in the studio. Strictly no young children or babies in the waiting area or studio, no exceptions.

If the above requirements are not adhered to, please be aware we may cancel your appointment and you will lose your deposit.

Additional Terms and Conditions

Accompaniment

Please be aware that our waiting area does not have the space to accommodate for many people, and as we strictly do not allow anyone else into the studio whilst you are getting a piercing due to health and safety, we kindly ask if you can please come alone to your appointments where possible. This excludes children under the age of 16 who must be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian. Please also be aware that if you are bringing multiple children under the age of 16 to be pierced that the other child will not be able to come into the studio with their sibling.

Jewellery fittings

The charge of £5 for a jewellery fitting and £8 for a downsize is for ONE piercing/ piece of jewellery only, and it is a charge of £3 for each one thereafter. So please be aware of this if you are booking a fitting or downsize for a pair of lobes, for example, as it will be an extra £3 onto the price you see online for the second one. Please be aware that we cannot fit jewellery that is not purchased from us, this is because we are personally liable for anything that happens to you after we fit it. However, we have an extensive range of high quality jewellery in store that we are sure you will find something that you love so please arrive slightly early to your appointment so that you have plenty of time to look.

Booking multiple piercings

The maximum amount of piercings we will offer in one sitting is 3, anymore than this can be very difficult for your body to heal at once. When booking multiple piercings we will need consecutive separate appointments to allow our piercer enough time to complete them all. It may be easiest for you to come in store to book in this instance where our staff members can assist you in booking the right amount of time. Also please take care to book the correct piercing in when booking online as each piercing has different allocated time slots. For example, “Ear Lobe” is just a 15 minute appointment, whereas “Ear Lobes” ,plural, is 20 minutes. If you accidentally book the wrong appointment we may not be able to accommodate for this if the piercing you require takes more time than what you have booked.
